however I've seen dynos that show only a gain of 15 hp. This is a lot for a NA Z, however on a Twin Turbo you can just turn up the boost a bit for the same effect. Unless you want to shift your car manually, I think the two transmissions are so close that it's negligible. If you have an automatic, I do recommend going with a HKS ALC. I just installed mine today and even though my transmission only has 15,000 miles on it, the ALC really improves shifting at 1/2 throttle or more. It shifts so quickly that I cannot even feel the transmission shift. It just seems like the RPMs keep increasing. It's still smooth like it was without the ALC. The ALC just allows the engine to make power more of the time.
